Pure wool chunky knit scarf.

These have to be one of the easiest pieces to wear as you simply just throw them over your head!

The design is by my good friend Lyndsey who is a keen knitter and croché-er. It's a simple design that she has been knitting for years and we decided it was time to make a few and allow customers to purchase these delights.

This scarf has been produced by women at a technical school which is part of the World fair trade organisation. The school supports over 2000 women, and the income generated from these scarves helps empower women and sustain underprivileged and low income families in Nepal.

We chose pure wool due to it being natural, biodegradable and renewable. It's breathable and is great thermal insulation, it will keep you warm through the cold months. It's odour resistant, and hypoallergenic - and that's the short version. I wear mine both in and out of the house.

This scarf has been made by a female collective which is part of the WFTO (world fair trade org).
