Knitted Red Grab Bag

Our beautiful cotton hand knitted grab bags returns in a new bright red.

The perfect 'from beach to bar' bag and the first thing I throw in the suitcase when going on holiday.

With my smaller personal belongings in there simply thrown into a bigger beach bag, I just grab it and go when it's time to head for lunch.

It was designed for me 6 years ago by my close friend Lyndsey who is a master crocheter and knitter. I had bought something from a shop that was in this plastic bag and I thought the shape was really quite cool, so Lyns made me a knitted version. It really is the perfect bag and I am rarely seen without one of these bags in Summer, especially on holiday.

They have been handmade in Nepal by a Fair Trade Women's collective, supporting over 2000 women members of its income generating project. The income generated by this project is used in social activities to empower and sustain underprivileged and low income families of Nepal, through free primary education of up to 250 children, an orphanage and vocational skill training on knitting, carpet weaving and carpentry.
