Florence Embroidered Linen Maxi dress Dark Liquorice Brown
Our Florence dress returns for her third year in deep liquorice brown - a colour that somehow manages to feel rich, effortless and surprisingly wearable all at once.
Made from the same soft cotton and linen blend you’ve loved before, we’ve updated her slightly this season with adjustable straps using a much neater hidden function, avoiding traditional plastic adjusters altogether. We’ve also made a few subtle fit refinements throughout, so it’s worth checking the measurements before ordering.
The embroidered bodice and flowing silhouette give Florence that easy throw-on appeal, whilst still feeling special enough for evenings away, summer dinners and everything in between.
I love her styled casually with oversized knits, flat sandals or our Sienna jacket during the day, but she works just as beautifully dressed up with lots of jewellery and a slightly sun-kissed face.
And once summer disappears, she’s the kind of dress that still works layered with boots and a sweatshirt thrown over the shoulders.

Love this dress….beautiful material
This is the most beautiful dress. I was waiting for payday to order, and was gutted to find it had sold out when I went to order. By chance I checked the other day and there was one in my size. It arrived today, just in time for the heatwave and I am over the moon. There is nothing I would change about it. Perfect colour (brown), perfect fit, straps stay put, you can lean forward in it without a bra & it doesn’t reveal anything, there are pockets. So flattering, I cannot gush enough about this dress 🤎🤎🤎
I love this dress. Brown isn’t an obvious colour for a summer dress, so I love the fact fwp have made such a gorgeous easy to wear dress in natural fabric and pockets with beautiful embroidery making this a low key stand out dress 😍

Can be dressed up or down and just love the colour. It will definitely be a staple in my summer wardrobe. Just not sure if I should have sized down
Love the Florence dress. I ordered in liquorice and it’s perfect. Had to size up To an XL to fit comfortably across the bust. Only downside, I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet due to the horrendous British weather
