A Margarita is my absolute fave cocktail, but when I was introduced to the Daquirita there quickly became a new contender for prime position in my Top 5 cocktails list.
My good friend Kat (does my bum look 40) is a frequent visitor to a super cool bar on Maltby street in London, simply named Malt Bar. I already knew this bar and had drank with the owner a couple of times, Kat however has completely befriended them.
Sonia is the head mixologist and introduced Kat to this delicious new drink. I don't know of anywhere else that makes them, and there's little info on the world wide web regarding any kind of historical story (you know I like a story), so this is now the story. Sonia came up with it while running the Malt bar and we all love it. Now logged in history in the form of a t-shirt (distressed to make it look like it's been around much longer).
