This dress is absolutely stunning! So much thought has gone into material, print, detail, cut . Aaaand….. it has pockets! Just need the weather to improve now…. If you’re unsure, get it! So pleased with everything - thank you!
I received my drinkie dress this morning & I’m utterly thrilled with it. I bought size M & would normally take UK10 but wanted a relaxed fit. It is perfect, lovely soft material, obligatory pockets & super comfortable.
I hesitated. Yes, this is true. Then I peeked one evening & my size was available so I ordered - it was the last one. Still I was a bit meh, you know, that feeling. Am I being seduced? Do I really need it? But the first time I saw a sliver of the design I felt beguiled. My head was ruling my heart and my head was wrong! People the dress arrived and like a glove it was on. Fitting perfectly. But more! The material is like being cocooned. It is sublime and surely epic! All the details including the hook on the empire line is minuscule but adds up to an awesome design. Then there is the print, not ditsy, not uniform but a veritable work of art. The colours are fab which means you can shove on any number of varying colours of knits & jackets. I’ve always admired Rae’s entrepreneurial bent & her design ethos. It never disappoints. This really is her vintage offering & I love 🧡💛💚💙🩷
Would it fit?, yes it did. Would it look as good on as it does in the pictures?, yes it does. Its flipping gorgeous and so beautifully made, I especially like the lining in the bottom half of the dress and pockets are a must!, the attention to detail is spot on. My favourite purchase this year. If you can get hold of one, GET ONE!
Completely agree with the other reviews, this dress makes me smile. If you can get your hands on one, do! I debated between the M & L for a while as I needed to get it right 1st time. Ended up going for the L in the end as I’d rather have it relaxed than too small. It fits perfectly, I’m 5’6” between 12/14 with 32F bust if this helps you gauge. Rae you’re brilliant, love you xxx
