Did you know that a Supernova is a colossal explosion of a star? Champagne supernova was the nickname given in 2003 due to the unusual brightness and the inexplicably great mass making it look like a spray of champagne. It is of course the name of one of the great tracks from Oasis' 2nd album and one of my absolute all time favourite bands.
