Bloody Mary T-shirt
Our favourite hair of the dog cocktail printed on to our Linen and cotton blend Lola Tee
Some context around the design of the graphics. The Bloody Mary cocktail is claimed to have been invented by a French barman named Fernand Petiot in 1921 while he was working at Harry's New York Bar in Paris, which was a frequent Paris hangout for Ernest Hemingway. Apparently it was a spur of the moment creation.
However, New York's 21 club has 2 claims associated with it, and a barmaid named Mary working at the Bucket of Blood in Chicago was said to have had some influence too. There are also a couple of historical figures, most noted Queen Mary, but with so many claims for one drink, at some point I had to stop reading...!
Regardless of who came up with it, it's probably the most famous Hair of the Dog drink in the world.
See all details below for fit and sizing. Rae wears small in these photos and is a 10-12 but does sometimes size up for extra slouch.
