INDIAN BLOCK PRINT DRESS ASH FLOWER

NEW version of the super popular Indian Summer block print dress. This one has been designed to really get the most out of all the seasons. The fabric is marginally heavier than the Summer dress, but still light enough for movement. The sleeve has been lengthened to fall past the elbow and brought in at the cuff. It can be worn loose or pull up the cuff to tuck under elbow. The colours blend beautifully with the main being a soft ash black, and the flower a peachy ecru and fine paprika outline. This looks incredible with all boots, chunky or heeled, low or high (even looks great with wellies in the woods). Equally fabulous with a thong sandal in Spring. For the really cold months add a black polo underneath or throw over a huge chunky knit and wool blazer for extra warmth. The high quality GOTS approved organic cotton has been hand-printed in the traditional Indian block print method, so there will naturally be some unevenness and marks due to the nature of this art, but this just makes each dress individual. The same block has been used as our Summer version, however this time the artisan has used the full block rather than what is known as the 'ground block', therefore spending 3 times as long hand printing each length of fabric. The fit is loose yet flattering and suits all shapes and sizes - and yes there are pockets! It is so easy to wear and comes with a same fabric belt in order to cinch in at the waist if wanted. The organic cotton fabric is soft and a perfect weight for all year round wear. Made in Jaipur India in a small Artisan collective who are proud to be members of the WFTO (world fair trade organisation). Some people being M/L are returning to size down so it's worth measuring yourself.
