Finally a margarita t-shirt. One of my most favourite cocktails – especially a ‘Tommy’ which is a spicy margarita.

You know I love a bit of trivia behind a cocktail so ……
There are lots of stories around when, where and who invented the Margarita, but Mexico’s official news agency and many experts say the strongest claim is that it was first mixed in Tommy’s Place, a bar in Juárez on July 4th 1942 by Francisco ‘Pancho’ Morales. He later left bartending in Mexico to become a US citizen where he worked as a milkman for 25 years.
So go grab a net of limes here’s a recipe given to me by a bar man who made one of the best spicy margaritas I’ve had.
40ml cazcabel blanco tequila (or I use Olmeca Altos), 20ml cointreau, 30ml lime juice, a few dashes of tabasco (roughly 8-10) and 15ml agave syrup and shake.
Drink while wearing this fabulous t-shirt! It’s an oversized boxy fit so take your usual size or size down. I’m in a small but wear XS too. I’m 10-12.

There is always a story behind any slogan I come up with, I can't just simply put a random slogan on a t-shirt. This is the story of a secret vineyard in Paris, tucked away in the little side streets behind the Sacré Cœur. Le Clos Montmartre was created in 1933 by the city of Paris in order to stop real estate developers building on the land. Each October the grapes are pressed in the basement of the 18e arrondissement's Mairie and around 1000 bottles are then auctioned off with the profits being put towards funding projects in the area. Tim Atkins has tried it twice saying it's somewhere between a decent Beaujolais and a Hautes Cotes de Nuit red, light, fruity and appealing but with no great complexity. This tee however is a beautiful organic cotton and modal slub blend. It's soft and slouchy and looks great with everything. Style with a French tuck into jeans, add a bright red lip then position yourself at an outdoor table, order a glass of red and if you can't get there just pretend you're in a Parisian street café.
