Some context around the design of the graphics. The Bloody Mary cocktail is claimed to have been invented by a French barman named Fernand Petiot in 1921 while he was working at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, which was a frequent Paris hangout for Ernest Hemingway. Apparently it was a spur of the moment creation.
However, New York’s 21 club has 2 claims associated with it, and a barmaid named Mary working at the Bucket of Blood in Chicago was said to have had some influence too. There are also a couple of historical figures, most noted Queen Mary, but with so many claims for one drink, at some point I had to stop reading…!
Regardless of who came up with it, it’s probably the most famous Hair of the Dog drink in the world.
