purple rain

Purple Rain rock tee I love my rock style tees, and I equally love Prince. So as my slogans revolve around the world of wine and cocktails, imagine my excitement as I was researching the history of a particular era and a cocktail named Purple Rain appeared! It was of course inspired by Prince (or at least the name was due to the grenadine gradually sinking through the blue curacao which invokes the imagery of rain), but the drink itself is a variation of the Long Island Iced Tea. Along with the blue curacao and grenadine (a nightmare if you spill it when wearing white!) it is then mixed with vodka, cranberry and lemonade. Pour over ice and finish with some fresh lime. The t-shirt itself is a classic easy to wear design and is the same tee I use for FIZZ and Bon Vintage retro. The lilac colour in the print is fresh and the shade purposely chosen to fit in with this seasons top colours. The gold is just fun and flashy. There is some slight distressing in the print to give a subtle vintage feel to it. More Stock coming August 2023
