When I launched the brand in March 2017, this was the first print slogan I came up with and it ran in the coral version. Bon Vintage was made up by me and means good year. I wanted to celebrate all ages as we move through the years. It continues to be very popular and last year I gave it an update with the retro style version, but to mark 6 years in business I decided to bring back the original to run along with retro, as it's still a print customers love and ask for. The t-shirt is a standard fit, slightly shaped at the body, with a rolled dolman style sleeve so there is no shoulder seam. It has a scoop neck and is made from a blend of organic cotton and modal slub. This comes in ivory so it's an off white rather than pure white which is softer against the complexion. Milano Torino is a bitter sweet cocktail, which is like a Negroni but without the gin as it's simply made with Campari and sweet vermouth. It was created at Milan's caffé Camparino in the 1860's and was named after it's original ingredients - Campari from Milan (Milano in Italian), and and sweet vermouth traditionally comes from Turin (Torino in Italian). The added soda water became the Americano and the added gin later on became the Negroni. Just mix, pour over ice and add a slice of orange peel. Deeeelish. Tastes better when sat by a pool. I decided to print it onto this gorgeous oversized slub tee which is both effortless yet elegant. The blend of organic cotton and modal make it a winner for warm weather and it's really really soft.
