INDIAN SUMMER DRESS AND BLOUSE COLLECTION

INDIAN SUMMER COLLECTION

My first collection – The Indian Summer collection – is based on favourite styles from my wardrobe that have been loved and worn for many years.

Taking a favourite cut and introducing a new print, colour or fabric is like having something brand new and knowing it will fit perfectly, always making you feel great. Classic shapes that don’t date.

These beautiful items are easy grab and go choices which will work alone, with a statement skirt, or with an old favourite battered pair of jeans.

It’s a piece that will shine. A beautiful blouse, statement tee, a heel, piece of jewellery or a dress that is so beautiful you only need to add a trainer or a pair of flip flops. Something that isn’t mainstream and has come from a small collection. Something unique that you can cherish and call ‘vintage’ in years to come.indian summer collection

In 1996 I travelled through India for 3 months and totally fell in love with the magical beauty of Rajasthan. The colour choices for this first collection of dresses and blouses represent the Blue City of Jodhpur, the Golden city of Jaisalmer and of course the Pink City of Jaipur where the garments are made.

Indian summer collectionWith some help, I searched long and hard to find a factory that would fully fit the brief for this collection. They had to have ethical working practices, be environmentally conscious, with fair pay, and full appreciation and respect for their artisan staff.indian summer collection | fwp by rae

It’s a small operation in Jaipur, and working closely with the team helps ensure that the best quality is achieved. It is a supply chain supporting fair trade and village artisanship. This small business is audited and proud to be a member of WFTO (world fair trade organisation) and I’m proud to be working with them.

I hope you love this small limited edition collection. Rae x

More printed products planned to arrive w/c 27th June

As this is such a small collection and as India is in such turmoil, there will only be 1 run of each item. Therefore, if something sells out you can add your name to the waitlist and you will be informed if an item is returned.
